What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Second Space: Launcher handles your information. This app is a local Android launcher — your space settings, hidden apps, lock preferences, gestures, and layout are stored locally on your device and never transmitted. However, we do use Firebase services (Analytics and Crashlytics) to help improve app stability and user experience.

What We Do & Don't Collect

Second Space: Launcher does not directly collect any of the following:

✕ Contacts or messages

✕ Photos or media

✕ Biometric data

✕ App usage statistics

        Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may collect anonymous technical data such as device model, OS version, and
        crash logs. This is used solely to improve app performance and fix bugs. It cannot be used to identify you
        personally.
      

03 — Permissions

Why We Request Permissions

Second Space: Launcher requests only the permissions necessary to function as a home screen launcher. No permission is used to collect or transmit data.

SET_WALLPAPER	Allow you to set custom wallpapers per space

04 — Third Parties

No Third Party Services

Second Space: Launcher does not use any third party services that collect data. Specifically, we do not use:

Advertising SDKs — the app is 100% ad-free
Cloud storage or sync services

Firebase (Google) We use Firebase services provided by Google LLC for the following purposes:

Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous usage data such as screen views and app events to help us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Firebase Crashlytics — automatically collects crash reports when the app encounters an error. This helps us identify and fix bugs quickly. Crash reports may include device model, OS version, and app version at the time of the crash.

05 — Local Storage

All Data Stays On Your Device

The app stores your preferences locally using Hive — an on-device database. This includes your space configuration, hidden apps list, lock type, gesture settings, home screen layout, and wallpaper preferences.

        This local data is entirely under your control. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data from your device.
        We have no copy of it and no way to access it.
      

06 — Security

Your Space Lock is Private

Your Second Space lock — whether PIN, Pattern, Password, Fingerprint, or Face ID — is stored and verified entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to any server or shared with anyone. Only you have access to your spaces.

07 — Children

Safe for All Ages

Since Second Space: Launcher collects absolutely no data, there is no risk of collecting information from users of any age, including children under 13. The app is safe for all users.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
